What's Our Vision?

Mission: To become more like Jesus today than we were yesterday.

• Knowing JesusIn order to know Jesus more we must go beyond just 
knowing about Him to knowing and experiencing Him through a real and
personal relationship. 

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! 2 Peter 3:18

Bible Study—God reveals Himself to us through His word that He
  wrote for us.

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Joshua 1:8

Prayer—Prayer is our way to communicate with God.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.              Philippians 4:6

Worship—Worship is a lifestyle that we live in response to who God is.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living    sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1

• Spiritual Disciplines- Spiritual exercises such as fasting, tithing, scripture memorization in which we grow in Christlikeness.“…

Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness. 1st Timothy 4:7

• Imitating Jesus—Live a life that models after the life of Jesus.

Be imitatiors of God, therefore, as dearly love children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and swacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2

• Serving Others- Meeting the needs of others and putting them before ourselves.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45

• Making Disciples- Sharing the Gospel with others through testimony and talents.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20

• Building Community- Strengthening the relationships in the body of believers.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1st Thessalonians 5:1
