 Recreation offers refreshment to our strength and spirit. It gives us fresh life. When Christ is the center of our life, all that we do -- including our playtime -- is more fulfilling.

The Activities Ministry provides an environment for our church members, church staff, and community to enhance their mental, physical, and spiritual well being through appropriate programs and special events.

 

The Christian Family Life Center at Green Valley Baptist is available for use by church members and guests from our surrounding neighborhoods. The CFLC was dedicated in 1977 and renovated in 2008 to accommodate leisure activities which are consistent with Christian standards. Good sportsmanship and healthy competition are reinforced in the CFLC, a facility where God is honored above all else.

The facilities include:

  • game area with table tennis, billiards, foosball, air hockey, and video games (Play Station, XBox, Wii)
  • refreshment area with tables and chairs
  • gymnasium with regulation high school basketball court
  • fitness room with treadmills, elliptical machine, stationary bikes, a four-station weight machine, and free weights
  • racquetball court
  • craft room
  • women's/men's locker rooms with showers

          Monday-Thursday:      5-9 PM
