                                        Mission Statement
The Preschool Ministry of GVBC is committed to helping preschoolers and their families. We realize the importance of building a strong foundation and we recognize the astounding growth and rapid development that is taking place during these early years of learning.

Foundation of Love
We have many committed, loving adults devoted to caring for and teaching our preschoolers. These teachers and caregivers offer unconditional love and acceptance for these precious little ones

Foundation of Spiritual Truths
Beginning with our babies onward, Bible truths are being presented to our preschoolers. Even babies are told often how "Wonderfully Made" they are and that God made them and loves them. Bible stories are taught as the child develops a longer attention span. Bible verses and songs are used to emphasize spiritual truths.

Foundation of Families
We believe in the family! Our preschool ministry is working very hard to encourage and nurture the young family; offering parenting classes and having literature available as needed for some trying and even difficult times. Our goal is for each preschooler and his or her family to know and understand the love of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Activities

Sunday School    9:15–10:15 AM

Preschool Sunday School provides age appropriate learning experiences and activities for children birth through 5 years as they hear about God, Jesus, Bible, family, self, and the natural world.
Our rooms are equipped expecially for preschoolers. Our hallways are color coded and labeled for easy access.

Morning Worship Care    10:30

Morning Worship Care Provides love and teaching for preschoolers, birth through four years. Five-year-old children are given a choice of K.I.D.S. (Kids In Divine Service) Church or attending the worship service with their parents. This ministry is staffed with preschool parents and many wonderful volunteers.

Worship Care provides loving care for birth through three-year classes. Children in four year old classes worship with their families. Children in four year old classes worship with their parents during the summer months.

  Wednesday Night Activities

These events make our Wednesday nights an exciting time! These experiences are provided for children ages three through five years. We alternate these activities every nine weeks.

Choir  sessions  focus on learning and preparing for seasonal events such as: Christmas through music and songs with hands-on experiences.  Other sessions will see God's love in the Springtime through music.

In Missions Friends Preschoolers learn about missionaries around the world and at home. They begin to learn about their church and what people in their church do to tell others about Jesus. They learn about the following exciting places: Greece, India, Ecuador, Mexico, Miami, South Asia and Rwanda.

Weekday Education     Monthly Newsletter

Weekday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, developmental learning experience for children two to five years old in a safe, and secure environment; to meet their needs mentally, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually through loving caring teachers. We do this through well-planned activities and experiences each day.

We have extended care from 8:00–9:00 AM and from 1:00–2:45 PM.

We follow the Hoover School System for weather days and Holidays.

 Mother's Day Out

Extended Morning Care       8:00–9:00
Extended Afternoon Care    1:00–2:45 

Our purpose is to give mothers some free personal time and to provide a good lerning experience for children in a safe environment.

We care for children ages six months through 23 months. Age groups are divided by three to four month increments with two adults for every eight children

Our hours are the same as the Weekday Education and we follow the Hoover School System calendar for holidays and weather days.

  Parent's Night Out

Parents Night Out    6:00–9:30 PM (designated Fridays)

Enjoy a night out while your child is being cared for in a safe and loving enviornment with well-planned activies. This is provided for our membership and for prospects.

Cost is $8 per child, maximum $20 per family.

Parents please call the preschool office to make arrangements.

This will be a time of dedication for both parent, child and for the church too in raising this child with a strong foundation toward salvation. It is our prayer that each child will grow as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and infavor with God and men.

New babies are recognized with a rosebud in the worship center and a Green Valley's Newest Angel sign in front of their home. Please call the Preschool office to make arrangements.
