Young at Heart Upcoming Trips

Fall Foliage, Blueridge Scenic Railway & Elijay Apple Festival                                    October 12-13, 2007

All aboard for a fall foliage 26 mile round trip train ride through the Georgia Mountains along the beautiful Tocca River.  We will disembark and explore downtown McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN.  On our second day we will explore apple barns and orchards near Elijay, GA and also enjoy their annual Apple Fesival with arts, crafts, food and apple!

Christmas at the Historic Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky

November 29 - December 1, 2007

The Galt House Christmas Tour includes two nights lodging at the historic Galt House Hotel with a dinner and show (White Christmas) at Derby Dinner Playhouse, Holiday Dinner at the Galt House, the Sanders Family country Christmas Show, a guided tour of Louisville, luncheon onboard the Belle of Louisville and much more!

Young at Heart describes the senior adult group at GVBC. We gather for fellowship, meals and program each month.  To let us know you will be joining us, please sign up at the Young at Heart cart located in the adult Sunday School wing or contact the GVBC music office 822-5265.

Our next meeting will be November 6. 

Joyful Singers

Are you eligible for AARP? Then you qualify for Joyful Singers the senior adult choir which meets on Thursday of each week...It's fun, inspirational and a vital ministry for all seniors. Join Us! Bubba Eubank  is our choir director and we do have a lot of fun. Please come and join our group for a fun time. We meet at 10:00 AM in the choir room.

Come join us every Thursday in the choir room at 10 AM.
